Third Annual Silverton Business Summit

This is a great opportunity to hear from local leaders in business and community organizations, collaborate with fellow business owners on marketing ideas and tools, explore ways we can work together effectively as a business community, and learn from our business panel as they share insights to help your business thrive in our ever-evolving mountain town economy.
This is a free event with a fancy dinner provided and prize giveaways. Giveaways include graphic design services, marketing services, leadership training, and $ towards a new business sign.

Silverton’s Business Beautification Grant Program opens October 1st oo
SJDA is very excited to announce a new program, the Silverton Business Beautification Grant. Thanks to DOLA, SJDA and the Town of Silverton received the Rural Economic Development Initiative grant award to design and implement a Facade Enhancement Grant program for Brick-and-Mortar businesses in Silverton.
Art Through the Seasons is back for 2026/2027 !
For its fourth consecutive year, SJDA is bringing local art to Silverton’s historic core. This winter, selected artists from San Juan County will have their work featured as window clings on seasonally closed and vacant storefronts along Greene and Blair Streets, beautifying our downtown during the quieter months.
Artist Applications are now open and will close Friday, October 2nd at 11:59 pm. Click the link below for the Artist Application. Businesses interested in participating: Please reach out to us directly! If your business is typically closed during the winter but opens for busy events like Skijoring, we can work with you on a temporary installation that can be easily removed and reinstalled as needed.
