Silverton Business Beautification Grant Program
San Juan Development Association, in partnership with the Town of Silverton, is pleased to offer the Silverton Business Beautification Grant Program, an initiative designed to support the revitalization and beautification of Silverton’s downtown business district. SJDA and the Town of Silverton received a grant award from the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) to kickstart a facade enhancement grant program in Silverton. This funding provides an opportunity to invest directly in local businesses and help create a more inviting, attractive commercial environment for residents, visitors, and the Silverton business community.
The program encompasses businesses within the Silverton Main Street District, National Historic District, and Creative District, which was recently designated as a Colorado Creative District.
Through the Silverton Business Beautification Grant Program, eligible businesses may receive a 50% matching reimbursement grant of up to $6,000 for eligible materials and services used to enhance an existing business façade or primary public entrance. The program is intended to encourage property and business owners to make thoughtful exterior improvements that strengthen the appearance of individual businesses while contributing to the broader revitalization of downtown Silverton.
Important: Expenses incurred prior to project approval will not be eligible for reimbursement. Applicants should review the full Notice of Funding Opportunity and program guidelines for eligibility requirements, application procedures, eligible expenses, and reimbursement requirements before beginning a project.
